Isaac Vallie-Flagg was originally scheduled to face Bobby Green, but he pulled out of the bout on November 11, 2011.[2]

Adlan Amagov vs. Anthony Smith was supposed to be a middleweight bout. However, Smith missed weight and the bout was changed to a 188-lb catchweight affair.[3]

This event would mark the final Strikeforce Challengers event, as Strikeforce Challengers was discontinued with the 2012 Strikeforce deal.[4]
